Johnson Antique Tractor Building
The Tractor Building was constructed in 2014 and houses beautifully restored tractors. The experience of visiting the Tractor Building will be a nostalgic one for some, but definitely an educational one for all. As visitors stroll past the CO-OP, Cockshutt, and Farmall tractors, they will learn how the early tractors were too large for some uses, and too small for other uses; how many farmers here in Barron County often owned a Farmall H for large tasks, and a Farmall A or B for their smaller work; how unique features related to hand breaks and steering made a difference; and advantages and disadvantages in various models. On display also are the Farmers Union CO-OP E3s which were restored for Farm Technology Days held in Barron County.
